OUR TEACHERS
Simona is the heart and driving force behind HotYoga Malta and the visionary founder of Momosyoga. With a foundation in contemporary dance, she brings a wealth of experience in somatic work cultivated through extensive research and practice in movement and contact improvisation. As a Mindfulness Coach, Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (E-RYT-500 YACEP) and Inside Flow silver instructor, Simona serves as the studio owner and director at HotYoga Malta, as well as the lead trainer and course director for HotYoga Malta’s Yoga Teacher Training program. She completed her RYT-200 Yoga Teacher Training Course with HotYoga Malta and has been a certified Mindfulness Coach and Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher since 2019. Additionally, she obtained certification as a Wheel Yoga Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor in 2020 and RYT-300 with YogaRenew New York. Simona's dedication to holistic wellness and her commitment to excellence in teaching make her a respected leader in the yoga community.
Simona Coscia
Meet Jumpei, a dynamic individual hailing from Japan and a professional dancer and choreographer. His journey into the realm of body and mind led him to explore various bodywork therapies, including Pilates, Reiki, and Chinese massage, as a testament to his unending curiosity and dedication. In 2011, he discovered the transformative world of hot yoga and since then, he's been an avid practitioner both in Japan and Australia. Upon arriving in Malta, Jumpei took a significant step by pursuing the Hot Yoga Teacher Training Course with Hot Yoga Malta-Momosyoga. He emerged as a Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher, E-RYS200, and Instructor in 2022.

She honed her expertise through her Hot Yoga Teacher Training Course at Hot Yoga Malta, earning her the distinction of being a Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (E-RYT 200) and YACEP since 2019.Sophie is a humble artist whose presence infuses each session with creativity and grace. Her elegant French accent guides you through gentle movements, leading you to embrace strength and serenity. With a background as a teacher, she undertook the transformative 200hr Teacher Training program at Hot Yoga Malta studio in 2020, deepening her understanding of yoga philosophy. Christa's true passion lies in making yoga accessible to all, sharing diverse techniques that guide practitioners toward inner dimensions while synchronizing body and breath. Beyond her yoga expertise, she extends her wisdom to mindfulness, using her gentle voice to lead souls through yoga's mindful motions. Christa Meli Schiberras
Aida Muscat Pulpan
Aida is a warranted Gestalt psychotherapist and a Level 1 graduate in Internal Family System Therapy. She completed her 200hr HotYoga Teacher Training Course with HotYoga Malta in 2022, making her a Yoga Alliance Certified teacher, E-RYS 200.
In her yoga practice, she is passionate about finding ways to heal through mind-body connection by combining yoga and psychotherapy practices on the mat.
Aida initiated her yoga path through an internship at HotYoga Malta in 2023.
Claudia Acquaviva
Claudia is an Italian former professional dancer with a rich background in both performance and teaching worldwide. After retiring from the dancing scene, she completed her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2020. Throughout her years as a performer, yoga played a crucial role in enhancing her flexibility, strength, and stamina. Claudia shares, "Yoga was an important step before and after every performance. It was the only way I could find focus, and it taught me how to use my breath efficiently as a performer and in my daily life."

She is constantly expanding her knowledge to integrate new techniques into her classes. Claudia also leverages her extensive dancing and sports background to train sports professionals through yoga.
Martha Galea
Martha completed her 200-hour hot yoga training in 2018 and has since gained certifications in Wheel Yoga, Transformative Sequencing, SUP Yoga, and Yin Yoga. Passionate about deepening her practice, she creates balanced, mindful experiences for her students.
With a psychology degree and a master’s in addiction studies, Martha integrates the mind-body connection into her teaching, guiding students on a journey of self-awareness and growth in every class.
